The Democratic Digital Director develops and executes digital strategies to advance the goals of the Democratic party or a specific Democratic political campaign. This role oversees all digital communications, advertising, and outreach efforts to promote the party/candidate's message and platform.

Background: Democratic Jobs  clients are looking for Democratic Campaign Manager whose role is critical position that can shape the trajectory of the campaign and influence the candidate's chances of success. It requires a dynamic individual who possesses political acumen, strategic thinking, exceptional leadership, and a deep commitment to the principles of the Democratic Party.

Roles/Duties:

    • Develop and implement the overall digital strategy for the party/campaign, including website design, social media presence, digital advertising, email marketing, text messaging campaigns, and other digital initiatives.
    • Manage the creation of digital content across all platforms including writing emails, social posts, graphics, videos, and other multimedia. Ensure messaging is consistent and effective.
    • Analyze digital metrics and optimize content/strategies for maximum engagement and conversions. Identify online trends to inform new tactics.
    • Oversee paid digital advertising efforts including budgeting, targeting, testing, and reporting. Manage relationships with digital consultants/agencies.
    • Build and manage a team of digital staffers such as writers, graphic designers, developers, and digital advertising specialists.
    • Collaborate with communications, data analytics, and field teams to ensure digital strategies support overall campaign/party objectives.
    • Stay up-to-date on emerging digital platforms, innovations, and best practices.

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have proven experience running successful campaigns along with the strategic vision and leadership skills to guide the candidate to victory. They must be committed to the democratic process and align with the candidate's values.

  • 5+ years experience managing digital campaigns and initiatives for political candidates, parties, or advocacy organizations.
  • Expert knowledge of digital strategies and platforms including email, social media, SMS, websites, apps, ads, etc.
  • Data-driven approach with ability to analyze metrics and optimize based on performance.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
  • Passion for advancing Democratic ideals and commitment to the organization's mission.
