Background: Democratic Jobs  clients are looking for Democratic Data Analyst skilled and motivated data analyst to join our Democratic political campaign. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to uncover key insights and develop data-driven strategies that support the campaign.

Roles/Duties:

    • Collect and integrate voter, polling, fundraising, and other datasets relevant to the campaign
    • Build predictive models to identify likely voters, donors, and volunteers
    • Analyze voter turnout trends, political affiliation shifts, and other metrics to optimize field operations and messaging
    • Create clear data visualizations and actionable reports for senior campaign staff
    • Monitor news and political developments to contextualize data with real-world events
    • Stay up-to-date on data analysis best practices and tools like R, Python, SQL, Tableau, etc.
    • Work cross-functionally with field, communications, and digital teams to implement data-driven programs

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have proven experience running successful campaigns along with the strategic vision and leadership skills to guide the candidate to victory. They must be committed to the democratic process and align with the candidate's values.

  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related field
  • 3+ years experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related role
  • Proficiency with SQL, R, Python, Excel, Tableau, or other data analysis tools
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for electing Democratic candidates and advancing progressive causes

Salary:

  • $45,000-$75,00 per year, depending on experience.

Job Types: 

  • Full-time, Temporary, Contractor

Pay: 

  • $20-30 per hour, depending on performance.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
